Local-first voice assistant for Windows

Say it.
She'll handle it.

Meet Lili — a friendly little orb that lives on your PC, listens for "Hey Lili", and gets things done. Read your files, send a Slack, set a reminder, search the web, open an app — all from a single voice command, in a warm, natural voice.

  • 100% on-device wake word
  • Your data never leaves your PC
  • Works while she's in the tray

What she does

An assistant that actually does things.

Lili isn't a chatbot in a tab. She's a presence on your desktop — breathing, blinking, listening — ready the moment you call her name. She takes action across your files, your apps, and the tools you connect.

She listens

Wake-word activation runs entirely on your machine. Push the mic, or just say "Hey Lili." She hears you over music, video, and conversation.

She thinks

Powered by Claude with automatic failover to Gemini — so a hiccup at one provider doesn't break your flow. Replies stream in instantly.

She speaks

Warm, natural neural voice. Sentence-by-sentence playback means she starts answering before she's finished thinking.

She does

Reads and writes files, opens apps, posts to Slack, checks GitHub, sets reminders, searches the web — and remembers what you taught her.

Compliance-lean by design

Your voice. Your machine. Your rules.

Every other assistant ships your audio to someone else's server. Lili doesn't. Audio, transcripts, conversation history, credentials, and her long-term memory all live in your local app data — never on a proxy, never in a cloud bucket, never trained on.

  • Wake word runs on-device — no always-on stream to a vendor.
  • Speech-to-text via local Whisper. Audio never leaves the PC.
  • Secrets in Windows Credential Manager — not a config file, not a cloud vault.
  • Memories and chat threads stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%. Wipe-able by voice.

What's in the box

Everything you need on day one.

No setup gauntlet. Install, say hi, and start asking.

Hey Lili — and three of her nicknames

Pronunciation-tolerant wake word with Hey Lili, Hey LeeLee, and Hey LyLy trained in parallel. Say it your way.

A face on your desktop

Lili lives as a small purple orb that breathes, blinks, and shifts color when she's listening, thinking, or speaking. Minimize and she floats in the corner.

Streaming voice replies

She starts talking the moment the first sentence is ready — no awkward pause while the full answer generates.

Barge-in, always

Interrupt her anytime. Start a new sentence and her current reply cancels instantly — voice, screen, and reasoning all stop on a dime.

Memory that grows with you

Tell her once — "I'm Pierre, I prefer concise replies" — and she remembers. Forever. Until you say "forget that."

Reminders that survive restarts

"Remind me to call Sara at 3" pops a Windows toast at 3, whether or not Lili was running in between.

Real apps, on your command

Approve which apps Lili may launch. She literally cannot open anything you haven't allow-listed. Safe by construction.

Conversation threads

Every chat is its own named thread with title and history. Browse them ChatGPT-style from the topbar — read-only, searchable, yours.

Push-to-talk fallback

On a noisy call? Click the mic. The wake word is optional, never required.

She grows with you

Connect a service. Get a new skill.

Lili speaks MCP — the open standard for connecting AI assistants to tools. Flip on a connector in her panel and the new ability is there the next time you say her name.

How she feels

Like a friend, not a form field.

Lili speaks in short, natural sentences — never corporate, never stilted. She uses your first name the way a friend would: occasionally, warmly, never on every line.

When she takes an action, she tells you in a sentence and moves on. When she doesn't know, she says so. When you interrupt, she stops mid-word and listens. That's the whole vibe.

— "Got it, Pierre. Reminder set for 3." — "Yes?" — "Posting that to #design-review now."
